I’m Ramachandran, a journalist from India. This personal blog reflects my deep interest in online news sites, especially their design and architecture.
I work for a multi-edition newspaper, but all along I have found the world of online journalism fascinating and have been trying to catch up with the breathtaking way in which it has been evolving and growing.
This blog will specifically focus on four areas of online news operations – design, architecture, content and technology. And generally, it will discuss and comment on general global trends and news relating to online news media. Things that may prove interesting to not only journalists, but also strategists, web designers, content managers, students, educators and media watchers in general -I think online media professionals cannot be versatile in their work without getting to know about what lies beneath the hood of their websites, the technical and design-related stuff included.
