Even if you have been innundated with reviews of the iPad and its possible impact on the media industry, this post from Nieman Journalism Lab, which delves a bit more into how news sites have so far approached content presentation on this new gadget, should be worth a read.
Three approaches have been adopted: ’swiping or tapping from story to story rather than Back and Forward, web browser-style’; pulling the reader right into a story and displaying all headlines in a way that the reader can access it with ease - "with five swipes and four taps" (too much ease!).
But, what I found quite pertinent was this comment on the page: "True, there’s something about holding the device in your hands, but they really should be applying this to their websites. There are Windows tablets out there; Android tablets aren’t far off. Wouldn’t an HTML version that works in all of them (and even on desktops and notebooks) be better?"
And here arex samples from Poynter:

The venerable Mario Garcia too had this to say on his blog: "It is an A as far as I am concerned. I am already wondering how we could have survived so long without something like this."

O comments so far.
